Family Trio Sings 'What Mercy Did For Me'

Check out this great video of a family trio singing the song ‘What Mercy Did For Me’ by People & Songs.

“I was hopeless, I knew I was lost, death and darkness were my only songs
I needed someone to come rescue me, then mercy heard my plea, Lord you found me
You healed me, You called me from the grave, You gave me your real love, I thank you Jesus
You washed my sins away, oh now I'm living like I'm forgiving, You came and set me free”

The singers in the video are known as The Detty Family, and they are all so talented! In the music video, they are matching in white dresses and take turns singing the different parts of the song. During the solos and during the joint parts where they sing harmonies, they sound just wonderful together! How amazing it is to see this family using their gifts to praise our Heavenly Father!

“Love you all. God has blessed each one with a beautiful voice. Keep singing for Christ,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“Love your songs and music,” another person writes online. “May you continue to do what you do with this gift from God. God bless you.”

The song ‘What Mercy Did For Me’ by People & Songs was written by Crystal Yates, Joshua Sherman, Micah Tyler, and students at The Emerging Sound, a dynamic summer songwriting camp. It was recorded live less than 48 hours after it was written and expresses a heart of celebration and gratitude for the mercy that Jesus freely gave to each one of us.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to this rendition of ‘What Mercy Did For Me’ from The Detty Family today!

Isaiah 58:9

'Jesus Does' We The Kingdom Live Performance

If you want to hear an amazing new song out in Christian music, this is for you. Check out “Jesus Does” by We the Kingdom Live Performance.

As the song begins, we see a casual band full of devoted Christ-followers pouring their hearts out in worship. We witness the authentic praises of this family band. The lyrics start out the new song like a new day. The lyrics say:

“Who tells the sun to rise every morning,
Colors the sky with the shades of His glory
Wakes us with mercy and love, Jesus does.”

This well-crafted song is an anthem of worshiping Jesus and blessing His name today. We are grateful for the day He has provided. The message then goes into those who Christ comforts and sees in the midst of injustice along with the phrase “Jesus Does.” The entire song is asking the question.

“Who” and responding with the answer, Jesus does. The chorus invites us into the worship of the Triune God. The harmonies are beautiful and the vocalists have such a genuine attitude of humility, alongside the instrumentalists exhibiting their hearts of praise.

Watching this live performance reminds us that we do not need anything fancy to come before the presence of God to worship Him. We just simply come as we are and be transformed by Him and His message of the gospel and the Bible.

He sees everything and knows everything. He cares for our needs and loves us perfectly. He is the Creator, Redeemer, and Spirit in us. We are invited to worship Him with our whole hearts.

“All praise to God, the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by his great mercy that we have been born again, because God raised Jesus Christ from the dead. Now we live with great expectation,” 1 Peter 1:3

'Coat Of Many Colors' Brandon Lake Official Music Video

Check out Brandon Lake’s new official music video for his song ‘Coat Of Many Colors.’

“I am clothed in a coat of many colors, I am wrapped in the light, and I am held
In the arms of a loving father, was lying in a pit, but I’m walking the palace now
‘Cause once I was a beggar, now I live in the King’s house, because red was the blood
That saved me, white was the light that pulled me from the dark, gold was the crown”

What a great song! In the music video, Brandon Lake is singing in his own colorful coat, and there are also sheets of red, white, and gold in the background – colors that he sings about in the song.

The song ‘Coat of Many Colors’ is part of Brandon Lake’s new album of the same name. It is scheduled to be released on October 20th. And then after the new album is released, Brandon Lake plans to go on his ‘Coat Of Many Colors Tour.’ It is set to kick off on October 26th and run through November 12th.

When it comes to this new song and album, Brandon Lake shares how it can relate to us all. "In many ways, we are all wrapped in a coat of many colors - we are clothed in the Father's love and in his pride for us, and everyone one of us are his favorite," Brandon Lake explains

"We see in the story of Joseph's life that he was misunderstood, he had dreams that got him in trouble, and he had to go through the process of trusting his dreams and being faithful to God. Joseph went from a pit to a palace, and this album explores that theme heavily."

We hope that you enjoyed watching the music video for ‘Coat Of Many Colors’ today!

The Detty Sisters Sing the Modern Worship Song 'Holy Water'.

This video will be sweet music to your ears. The Detty Sisters sing an uplifting modern worship song ‘Holy Water.’ It will refresh your soul and put a smile on your face.

“Your forgiveness
Is like sweet, sweet honey on my lips
Like the sound of a symphony to my ears
It's like holy water on my skin, ayy”

Enmeshed in the forest, the music video opens pans through several scenes of a beautiful forest and a river flowing through it all. Then as the lyrics begin, it features a young girl sitting on dirt steps as she sings how she needs God to quench her thirsty soul.

The music video then pans out to reveal all four Detty Sisters and their mother wearing ripped jeans, sun hats, and simple t-shirts as they stand on the sandbanks of a river. As they reach the chorus line, they sing a harmonizing melody that sounds like heavenly angels. It is absolutely lovely.

Praising God is a passion and a calling for the Detty ladies. Amber, their mother is passionate about worshipping Christ. From the moment she knew she would be a mother–she’s always had worship music playing in the house and in the car. What a beautiful way to surround her little girls with the love of Jesus. Their passion and hope is to share the Gospel with anyone who will listen.

‘Holy Water’ was originally released by We the Kingdom in 2019. It was written by  Ed Cash, Scott Cash, Franni Cash, Martin Cash, and Andrew Bergthold. Catching fire in the hearts of Christians, the song climbed the charts and peaked at number six on the Billboard’s Bubbling Under Hot 100 Chart.

It was later nominated by the GMA Dove Awards as Song of The Year. The heart of the song is about our need for God’s forgiveness and how we want to be changed by the spirit of God to glorify Him. It’s a journey we take daily.

Psalm 32:1-2 “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the LORD counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit.”

“God Is With Us” Inspiring Single From The Afters

Though we may sometimes feel alone, the truth is shared beautifully in this video of “God Is With Us,” the inspiring single from The Afters.

The Afters originated in a Starbucks coffee shop in Mesquite, Texas, where two of their founding members were working together. Josh Havens and Matt Fuqua, along with Dan Ostebo who joined the group around 2007, are still writing music and playing together after nearly 25 years! Originally known as Blisse, The Afters has been performing since 1999. They have history!

They also have life experience. The hurts and heartaches that the band have endured over the years inspire their music. Josh Havens shared an example back in May 2019, just prior to the release of their Album, Fear No More.

Referencing the epidemic of anxiety in today’s world and his own experience with worry,  Josh stated to The Christian Post, “We wanted to write songs that are anthems to sing over your life when it gets hard. God is real and present and has this all-consuming love that we so desperately need.”

Featuring their new single, recorded in August 2023, The Afters’ video combines images and words to remind us that God is always there. In brokenness and death, sickness and addiction, and fear, He is there.

We see two stories depicted in the video. The first is a man who has lost his wife, probably to divorce; however, that is not certain. The second is a young mother who appears to have lost her husband to death, but don’t look too closely at the years on the tombstone. That’s totally not the point!

Four lines from the song’s chorus are as follows:

He is right here where He’s always been
He never left, and He never will
Where is God
God is with us

Shots of magnificent skies and landscapes alternate with scenes from the lives of two desperate individuals dealing with losses. God’s handiwork alone is evidence of His omnipotence, but perhaps we see His presence more clearly when He works in our own lives—rescues us in our despair.

As the video progresses, the gentleman seems to move from depression to healing, and the grieving woman is able to laugh and live again. He is there, even in our darkest moments! And, when we trust Him in the pain, He sees us through it.

Musicians and celebrities aren’t immune to the ugly stuff that life brings, and when they use their experiences to inspire and inform the words and melodies they bring to listeners… they’ve made something good from the bad. And, that’s totally the point!

“Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me.” Psalms 23:4

'Oh My Soul' Casting Crowns, Katy Nichole And David Leonard Lyric Video

Let God’s presence and strength wrap around you like a warm blanket and banish your fears as you listen to ‘Oh My Soul’ by Casting Crowns, Katy Nicole, and David Leonard in this lyric video.

As children of God, we have been given the promise God is with us no matter where we go. The Good Book reminds us God will never leave us or forsake us.

Sometimes, knowing this truth and believing it are two entirely different scenarios. We close our eyes at night, and suddenly, our fears are bigger than we imagined. We’re desperate to remove doubt and fear. We’re desperate to know we are not alone. In this beautifully captivating song, we are reminded our fear will face God. When both come face to face, God conquers fear.

Oh, my soul You are not alone
There's a place where fear has to face the God you know
One more day, He will make a way
Let Him show you how you can lay this down ‘cause you're not alone

We are reminded to bring our fears to the Lord and lay them at His feet. This beautiful exchange frees us from the chains of fear as God provides light for the next step in our journey. It’s easy to confess God fights for us but often it is incredibly difficult for our hearts to believe this truth. As the song, ‘O’ My Soul,’ reminds us, we must turn repeatedly to the promise that God will fight for us. When we feel lost and alone, we need to remind ourselves God is by our side. No matter where you are today, may the truth of God’s ever-present help bring you peace, strength, and faith.

Psalm 46:1 “God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.”

'Voice Of Truth' Casting Crowns And Steven Curtis Chapman Lyric Video

In this lyric video, the ‘Voice Of Truth’ by Casting Crowns and Steven Curtis Chapman instills faith and trust in the ultimate Anchor in any storm.

Trusting God when facing the giant of fear takes a tremendous amount of faith. In life, circumstances will test us and stretch our faith in ways we never thought possible. One song reminds us to drown out the voices of shame, guilt, and fear in favor of listening to God’s truth.

The lyrics paint a picture of what must’ve been like to be Peter staring out at the water and questioning His Savior when he was commanded to get out of the boat. Was Peter scared or filled with doubt? Or did he have complete faith in Jesus? The songwriter then poses a question for all of us, do we trust God enough to step out of our comfort zone? Are we brave enough to ignore the voices of doubt and embrace the voice of truth?

But the Voice of Truth tells me a different story
The Voice of Truth says, "Do not be afraid!"
And the Voice of Truth says, "This is for My glory"
Out of all the voices calling out to me, I will choose to listen and believe the Voice of Truth.

What I love most about this song is how the songwriter reminds us that belief isn’t something we have or don’t have. Belief is a choice. This choice is something we exercise when the waves seem to be crashing down. By choosing to believe, we remember God is in control.

It gives us the freedom to surrender the outcome to God, knowing that no matter what happens, it’s all for God’s glory. The beautiful part of this song is how we are reminded that we are mere humans. We will make mistakes. We will fail. But we can try again.

As the lyrics in this video remind us, no matter what giants we face, we will conquer them in the name of the Lord. It will be for his glory and strengthen our faith.

James 1:2 “Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love him.”

'He Will Carry You' Friends Sing Praises To The Lord With Worship Performance

Let your heart rest in God’s embrace as you listen to ‘He Will Carry You’ by the Cordilla friends as they sing praises to the Lord with an incredible worship performance.

Do you ever feel like doesn’t match the promises God made to you? You’re filled with doubt, insecurity, and shame? Maybe life has beaten you like a sapling in a hail storm, and the welts have left your soul bruised. Let this song call you home and help you heal.

Deep in the beautiful mountain range of Cordillera, Philippines, long-time friends Sheshy and Rhoda perform worship in its basic form. It’s just them, their voices, their hearts, and the holy spirit. Together, they remind us how we can lift our voices in praise to the Lord no matter where we are or what we are doing. This beautiful music video showcases the powerful words of the song, ‘He Will Carry You.’

There is no problem too big, but God can not solve it
There is no mountain too tall He can not move it
There is no storm too dark God can not calm it
There is no sorrow too deep He can not soothe it

The lyrics echo the words of David in the Psalms, God is on our side. What a comforting thought to know God is always with us. When our burdens or fears are too big to carry, God carries us. We don’t need to fear, there is nothing happening in our lives that he can’t handle. God’s power is limitless.

If He can speak the stars and the oceans into existence, He can and will get you through the storm you’re battling. It brings so much comfort to be reminded in God’s hands. Yesterday’s impossibilies are today’s miracles.

Isaiah 46:4  "I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you."

'The Jesus Way' Phil Wickham Song Session In Church

Check out Phil Wickham’s new song ‘The Jesus Way’ in this video that he filmed in a church.

“If you curse me then I will bless you, if you hurt me I will forgive, and if you hate me
Then I will love you, I choose the Jesus way, if you’re helpless I will defend you
And if you’re burdened I’ll share the weight, and if you’re hopeless then let me show you
There’s hope in the Jesus way, I follow Jesus, I follow Jesus, He wore my sin”

What a beautiful and powerful song! The music video was filmed in a simple setting in the back of a church with Phil Wickham on the guitar and vocals and another person on the keys.

The song ‘The Jesus Way’ is part of Phil Wickham’s highly anticipated new album that is set to be released this fall. It is the third advanced track to be released before the upcoming album, following the songs ‘Sunday Is Coming’ and ‘This Is Our God.’

This new song is so special to the two-time Grammy nominee artist, and he shares why in a recent interview.

“‘The Jesus Way’ is one of the closest songs to my heart that I’ve ever released. It’s impacted my own life personally in a profound way. For me, it’s a line-in-the-sand song about what I want to stand for and who I follow,” Phil Wickham says. “I’m so excited to sing this song with the church, and I’m inviting anyone and everyone who follows Jesus to join me in this anthem!”

What a wonderful message, and the song is a great reminder of what life is all about. Choosing the Jesus way leads to abundant life, and may pursue that daily!

'Creator' Phil Wickham Official Music Video

You don’t want to miss ‘Creator’ performed by Phil Wickham in this beautiful official music video!

“Praise Him all you creatures great and small
Praise Him summer, winter, spring and fall
Hollowing wind, rushing streams
Rolling hills and crashing seas

What an incredibly reverent music video that points us to the One who created us and the world we live in. Do you ever whisper words of praise as you notice the sunrise on your way to work? Or maybe when the leaves dance to the ground in an array of colors in the fall? Maybe you whisper a prayer of praise when you hug your kids and grandkids.

No matter what fills your soul with gratitude, we can praise God for all the wonders that surround us.

The song is part of the album he released in August of 2023 titled, ‘I Believe.’ Phil wanted to create an album worthy of pointing everyone back to Christ. He said, “There are so many searching for truth, meaning, belonging, purpose, hope, fulfillment, peace and healing… I think the world is desperate to see and hear people full of hope, joy, love, and confidence telling their stories about how Jesus saved and changed their lives.”

The song ‘Creator’ brings us right to the heart of why Jesus loves us so much. What I love the most about this powerful message is how the video is choreographed to show giant crashing waves, majestic mountain tops, to the stars swirling in the galaxy. We can look at creation and know that we have a Creator.

We hope you enjoyed listening to Phil’s new song. May you lift up your voice and worship your Creator!

Colossians 1:16 “For by him all things were created, in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things were created through him and for him.”

Christian Family Worships The Lord With 'Jesus Is The Anthem'

Listen to this talented Christian family worship the Lord with the song ‘Jesus Is The Anthem.’

“See us gathered as the church, the bride of Jesus, singing praises to our Lord, God’s only son
For we believe and have received eternal life through His great mercy, so we will live our lives
For Him as faithful servants, telling nations far and near He is the way, and come what may
We’ll not betray the sacred name of our King Jesus, He is the Anthem that we sing”

This beautiful song was composed by Paul Jackson and Lari Goss, and the talented family performing it in the video is The Asidors.

They are a group of family Christian singers who share God’s love through their music. The family performs in many different places, especially at churches, religious gatherings, and crusades. And they also have a popular YouTube page where they share their musical performances as well.

In their music video of ‘Jesus Is The Anthem,’ the performance starts off with a talented young girl singing the first verse, and then the other members of her family take turns having their own solos. Later in the song, Isaiah 40:28 comes across the screen: “The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He will not grow tired or weary, and his understanding no one can fathom.”

Many people online were encouraged by The Asidors’ rendition of ‘Jesus Is The Anthem’ and shared their thoughts.

'Hold On' Katy Nichole And David Leonard Worship Performance

Watch this beautiful worship performance from Katy Nichole and featuring David Leonard of the song ‘Hold On.’

“Smoke clouds all around, couldn’t see your face, darkness consumed me
Stuck in the bitterness, but I know there’s a light that’s waiting up ahead
So, I’ll stay in the fight and look to the one who said hold on just a little bit longer
I know it’s gonna be okay, these days are gonna make you stronger”

What a wonderful worship performance, and the voices of Katy and David blend so well together! And it is powerful to hear the words of ‘Hold On’ and know the testimony behind them.

‘Hold On’ by Katy Nichole was written about one of the lowest times in her life, a time when she was battling depression and anxiety. And Katy shared more about the song and the heart behind it in a video she posted to Instagram.

“I wanted to talk about a song on my brand new album called ‘Hold On,’” she said. “This song is incredibly important to me, and it’s a little bit harder for me to talk about because it’s such a deep part of my story, and it is a little bit darker. I’ve dealt with a lot of anxiety and depression in my life and even at one point had suicidal thoughts. There was one point where I picked up a bottle of pills and I took it to the bathroom, and when I did—there was nothing in my path—but that bottle of pills fell onto the floor and spilled.”

Katy continued: “In that moment I felt God saying to me, ‘Hold on, I’m not done yet.’ I picked up those pills and threw them in the trash can because I knew that God still had a plan and a purpose for my life. I hope this song can encourage you and remind you that your life matters so, so much and you can hold on because you have a purpose.”

What an incredible testimony. And it is beautiful to see Katy use her story and her talent to shine the light of Christ to others through her music.

'We Shall Overcome' Wintley Phipps Live At Gaither Studios

Listen to this wonderful rendition of the hymn ‘We Shall Overcome’ by Wintley Phipps that was recorded live at Gaither Studios.

“We shall overcome, we shall overcome, we shall overcome someday;
Oh, deep in my heart, I do believe, we shall overcome someday.”

The hymn ‘We Shall Overcome’ became the anthem of the Civil Rights Movement during the 1950s and 1960s. The song offered courage, comfort, and hope as protesters confronted prejudice and hate in the battle for equal rights for African Americans.

Wintley Phipps does a fantastic job showcasing his powerful bass-baritone voice in this performance of ‘We Shall Overcome,’ and many people online shared how much they were moved by listening to him sing it.

“The gift of song transfigures the character and lifts us into the very presence of God,” Wintley Phipps says when talking about the album. “My prayer; Lord, may the music on this project inspire and draw many closer to Jesus.”

'Praise' Elevation Worship With Elevation Choir

Listen to Elevation Worship with the Elevation Choir perform the upbeat and joyful worship song ‘Praise.’

“Praise the Lord, oh my soul, praise the Lord, oh my soul, I’ll praise cause You’re sovereign
Praise cause You reign, praise cause You rose and defeated the grave
I’ll praise cause You’re faithful, praise cause You’re true, praise cause there’s nobody
Greater than You, praise the Lord, oh my soul, praise the Lord, oh my soul”

What a great song that reminds us that all creation should praise God and that praise should extend beyond times of joy. Praise can be expressed in both times of happiness and times of difficulty. In the valleys and the mountaintops, in the highs and lows of life, God is sovereign and worthy of all our praise!

The writers of ‘Praise’ are Brandon Lake, Chandler Moore, Chris Brown, Cody Carnes, Pat Barrett, and Steven Furtick. And one of the main scripture references that they used in the lyrics is from Psalm 150:6 – “Let everything that has breath praise the Lord. Praise the Lord.”

Many people online shared about how much this video of the song ‘Praise’ lifted their spirits.

“I’ve missed hearing choirs singing so much! Thank you Jesus for voices that lift for Your glory! Praise the Lord indeed,” writes one person online.

“Y'all never fail to bless us with your masterpieces. God bless you and your ministry abundantly,” comments another person on YouTube.

May this song fill our souls and remind us that as long as there is breath in our lungs, there will always be a reason to praise the Lord. May we be reminded that God's presence and faithfulness are constant, regardless of our circumstances.

'Satisfied' Chris Tomlin Lyric Video

Listen to the song ‘Satisfied’ by Chris Tomin and be encouraged today.

“I count my blessings one by one, Your goodness in my life, how could I ask for more?
In You, I'm satisfied, all the mountains that I ascend, they leave me empty time and time again
I fix my eyes on this reward, the world behind me now and You before, I count my blessings
One by one, Your goodness in my life, how could I ask for more? In You, I'm satisfied”

What a great song! ‘Satisfied’ was written by Chris Tomlin, Jason Ingram, and Ross Copperman. And the song is part of Chris Tomlin’s album titled Holy Roar.

The message in the song ‘Satisfied’ talks about finding complete satisfaction and contentment in God alone. The simple yet powerful lyrics remind us that the world may offer us many things that seem satisfying, but only leave us longing for more. True satisfaction and fulfillment can only be found in God and nowhere else.

One of the verses referenced in the song is Psalm 107:9, which says, "For he satisfies the thirsty and fills the hungry with good things." Another verse referenced in the song is Matthew 5:6, which says, "Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled." Both are great truths that remind us that God can satisfy our deepest desires and needs.

In an interview about the song, Chris Tomlin shared that he was inspired to write ‘Satisfied’ after reflecting on the story of Jesus and the woman at the well in John 4. In this story, Jesus meets a Samaritan woman and tells her that he can give her living water that will quench her thirst forever. And that was the message that Chris Tomlin wanted to remind people of in this song.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Satisfied’ by Chris Tomin today!

'Love Me Still' Lauren Daigle Official Lyric Video

Listen to this beautiful new song from Lauren Daigle titled ‘Love Me Still.’

“When I'm at my worst, when I'm at my best, You couldn't love me more
You couldn't love me less, You met me in places that I never could have imagined
You washed all my failures away as though they never happened, You love me still
You always will, nothing can change it, nothing can change it, You love me still”

This wonderful song is part of Lauren Daigle’s new full-length self-titled album. The project’s first ten songs came out in May, and another thirteen songs were released in September. All twenty-three tracks showcase the singer’s stunning and powerful voice and her incredible musicality. This new album has come out five years after Lauren Daigle’s last album, and it is great to hear music from this artist again!

“One of the great things about getting to make records five years apart is that you get to explore new musical spaces. You get to explore what makes you come alive for this season of life. And this isn’t what was making me come alive five years ago, but it’s making me come alive now,” Lauren Daigle reflects. “I get to express that onto a record, and I think that’s really special — to allow music to keep recreating you.”

The song ‘Love Me Still’ was written by Lauren Daigle, Jason Ingram, and Steven Furtick. The song got its start from when Jason Ingram was walking down the streets of New Orleans, Lauren Daigle’s hometown, and saw red graffiti on a wall with the words “Love Me Still.” The phrase sparked the intimate track that showcases Lauren Daigle’s unmistakeable vocals against the backdrop of a singular harp.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Love Me Still’ by Lauren Daigle today and the song was able to encourage you in some way.

'Human' Love And The Outcome Official Lyric Video

Check out the official lyric video for the song ‘Human’ by Love And The Outcome.

“God is good, life is hard, it's not one or the other, I've been on both sides of black and white
And found a few new colors, when you're far from okay, just know I've been there too
There's no perfect words to say, but here's what I'd say to you, you're not broken
Just because you're wounded, you're still worth it, when your Rome has turned to ruins”
