1 Timothy 5:17 says “Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honor, especially they who labor in the word and doctrine.”   Please notice is doesn’t say “Only in October…”

Yes - October is Pastor's Appreciation Month and we at AM630 The Word want to encourage you to find a way to honor and recognize the sower where you have reaped.

Sure…they aren’t perfect…but have you looked in the mirror lately?  God loves us as much as He loves your Pastor…and they have a heavier load according to James 3 – “those who teach will be judged more strictly.”  So here are 50 Ways To Bless Your Pastor!

Practical Ideas Outside the Church

1. Write a hand written thank you note for your Pastor’s service.
2. A gift certificate to his favorite restaurant
3. A 2 night stay at a hotel downtown or Bed and Breakfast in the Hill Country
   
4. Provide baby-sitting if the Pastor has kids
5. Honor (and tag) your pastor on Facebook
6. Cash is nice
7. Movie passes
8. Give the Pastor something he can share with his family
