Dr David Walker
Pastor David Walker is the Senior Pastor of Alamo City Church located in San Antonio, Texas. Fiercely devoted to following Jesus above all else, Pastor Walker teaches from the absolute authority of Scripture, and preaches in a passionate and genuine way that connects deeply with people from all backgrounds. With a twinkle in his eye, Pastor Walker loves to preach on the great adventure of following the real Jesus and seeing His mighty power at work in our hearts and in the things we face every day.
He is husband to Shirley, Father to 3 children, and Grandfather to 4 grandsons and 1 granddaughter. Pastor Walker is an avid outdoorsman, enjoys growing trophy whitetail deer, loves the wildness of Montana, and cherishes time with his family.
Pastor David Walker holds Master of Theology and Doctor of Ministry Degrees from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and has been in ministry for almost 5 decades.
