Carlos Quijada

Carlos Quijada, born in Puerto Rico from Dominican immigrants, is a loving husband, devoted father, author, instructor, professional counselor, and one of the Pastors at Last Chance Ministries, a fast-growing church in the Westside of San Antonio, Texas. Together with his wife Darlene, they oversee the LCM Latino ministry, serving the Spanish-speaking community by teaching biblical truths and bringing hope to hundreds of families. Pastor Carlos has more than 25 years of experience in ministry, and has done missionary work in Dominican Republic, Puerto Rico, Argentina and New Jersey (USA). He is passionate about sharing the love and truths of Jesus Christ with the world, and apply such truths to everyday life. Pastor Carlos hosts The Way radio program, which is aired every Saturday morning at 10 through AM 630 The Word.

Mr. Quijada has a medical degree from Universidad Tecnológica de Santiago, in the Dominican Republic. He obtained his Master of Divinity at Regent University, and also holds a Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Capella University. He provides counseling services to individuals, couples and families, and is also an online Adjunct Professor at Nyack College’s Alliance Graduate School for Counselors, a Christian higher education institution in Downtown New York City.
