A Passion musical, particularly suitable for Easter. Texted in English, but sung in Norwegian. Someone gave their life to Christ every single time it was performed.

“This Is My Exodus” is a declaration of release — a moment where chains fall, cycles break, and God steps in with power and mercy. The song captures the emotional shift from bondage to breakthrough, from darkness to light. It speaks to anyone who has felt stuck, trapped by pain, shame, fear, or the weight of their past. This is a song of hope and healing after the loss of a loved one. It is written from the perspective of God singing over you letting you know He is with you and will never leave you.

This song celebrates the scriptural promise of God's presence, especially when we are broken, afraid or in the midst of trouble.

I am never more myself than when God is fully unhindered to be Himself in me; for then He enables me to be all I actually am. So He must increase, I must alter. This song I translated many years ago, and it was used by TenSing Bergen on their visit to England. However, it was 30 years before I actually got to see the recording that this is part of. My version has 3 verses, but I have only been able to find two of the verses of the Norwegian original which is by Arnold Børud and was published in the CD Tvers III

John 15:13 - Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. Nothing demonstrates this better than Yeshua’s Passion. I wrote this years ago, as a poem that described the event in greater detail. Turning it into a song took much more time that it did to write the poem. Upon my poetic journey he taught me many lessons. I was stiff necked, and fairly set in my ways, but God knew how to break down my palisades and speak right to my heart. This song began as a poem, But the Lord inspired me to put it to melody and music. I learned a lot from this lesson, and that may have been it's only purpose, but I like to share the lessons that touched me, just in case anyone else needs it too. Have you ever met a stranger that just seemed different, more enlightened than the average Joe or Jane? Someone who was there when you were in need, but once your problem was resolved, they disappeared? There's a song by Alabama called "Angels Among Us" that touches on the "here today, gone tomorrow" stranger who guides us through a storm.
