Listen To The Birdies - Matthew 6:25-26 – April 6, 1980 What are you worrying about? Oh, come on. Be honest. We often get caught up in the worries of this world. We worry about our money, relationships, health, careers, possessions, community and so much more. These worries can steal our joy and causes stress and anxiety that we do not need to bear. In Matthew 6:25–26 Jesus teaches 25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life? We can learn a valuable lesson if we will just Listen To The Birdies.

May the Words of My Mouth is a meditative prayer, inspired by Psalm 19:14, that aims to beautifully capture the essence of surrendering our entire lives to our Father God as an act of worship. Its simple but profound message had touched the hearts of many within local congregations in the past, making it a cherished addition to worship services.
