About Pastor Eddie Leija
San Antonio native, born and raised. A graduate of Harlandale High, Class of 79. Joined the USN and served from Feb. 80 to Feb. 86. Married to my beautiful wife, Marylou Santoro Leija, we just celebrated our 36th anniversary in January. We have 3 beautiful daughters, 3 awesome son-in-laws, and 4 amazing granddaughters. I have been serving Jesus Christ in ministry for over 30 years. Growing up a Pastor's kid, I can say I have prepared my whole life to do what the Lord has called me to do, to Pastor ECC. I have 3 mentors/teachers who God used to mold me who I am today and have had the honor to work and server under their ministries. Pastor Eddie A. Leija Sr. (my father), Pastor Tim Adams, and Pastor Randy Mask. Between these 3 men they have over a 100 years of serving God as minister of the gospel. I have been serving as senior pastor at Emanuel Community Church Southtown for 14yrs.
