Maranatha Bible Church

In 1988, God placed in my spirit a desire to plant a Bible teaching church in North East San Antonio. After much prayer and being led by the Spirit, God impressed upon my heart to share the following purpose and mission for the birth of Maranatha. Founder and Pastor Dr. Rander E. Draper, Sr. Maranatha Bible Church is committed to being a Bible teaching church where the Word of God is the final authority in the life and decisions of the church. Maranatha exists to bring glory to God through our worship and is committed to building up the Body of Christ through the ministry of prayer. We are committed to assembling together for fellowship and the administration of the ordinances of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. Maranatha is a missioned-minded church. We are dedicated to winning souls for Christ and to equipping the saints for the work of ministry. We strive to strengthen the family unit and to be a haven of love, encouragement, and acceptance for all peoples.
