The San Antonio Mentoring Collaborative brings recognized mentoring agencies together with a focus on the faith community to address school dropouts through mentoring and incorporating the Developmental Asset approach. Collectively known as SAMC, San Antonio Youth for Christ, Communities in Schools & Big Brothers Big Sisters goal is to increase the number of loving Christian mentors from the San Antonio faith community to intentionally build authentic mentoring relationships with children and teens. Positively impacting lives one match at a time, SAMC collectively is equipped to empower loving Christian adult mentors throughout San Antonio to form life-transforming friendships. Imagine what our public school systems would look like with 10K loving Christian adults mentoring in their communities…..Together we can make the dream a reality!
